Van der Valk Worldly eaters
Like adults, children are just as welcome at Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem! Especially for our youngest guests we have created a surprisingly diverse menu for them: Van der Valk World eaters. With this adventurous and responsible menu, children are being challenged to eat something different as the traditional menus for children. Timo the Toucan is taking them on a trip around the world and shows them what children in different countries eat. They will visit Italy, Austria, Indonesia, England, Alaska and of course: The Netherlands. Every country comes with it’s own fun facts and stories!
Because Van der Valk as a family business also wants to mean something for children who are less fortunate, we support the KidsRights organization. This organization stands up for the position of vulnerable children anywhere in the world. With our children's menu, we particularly support the KidsRights Changemakers Movement. The KidsRights Changemakers Movement is a worldwide online platform, especially for the courageous children and young people who take action for children's rights; the changemakers. On this platform, these young changemakers can find, support, inspire and mobilize each other, but can also be followed by others, receive (financial) support and create growing support.
Do you want to cook these worldly dishes for the children yourself? Our children's menu is inspired by the award-winning book "Wereldeters" by Marjolein de Vlaam. Just like the menu, the book is cheerfully designed with fun stories and funny facts about different countries from all over the world. More information? Ask for it at our reception!
