Airborne museum

TheAirborne Museum Hartensteinis located in Villa Hartenstein. During the Battle of Arnhem in 1944 this villa was the headquarters of the BritishAirborne Division.

Now the stories of British, Polish and German soldiers come to life. Civilians affected by the violence of war also have their say. Through historical objects and personal belongings, the poignant story of the Battle of Arnhem is told.

Airborne Experience
In the underground Airborne Experience you step into the footsteps of a British soldier and join him on a mission. In an impressive wartime setting you experience the operation from start to finish with many audiovisual effects. History comes to life!

Miss Hartenstein
Missie Hartenstein is an audio tour and scavenger hunt specially for children up to 12 years old. Together with soldier Tommy Atkins, children solve puzzles and complete challenges. Are you coming along on the mission?
