Arnhem War Museum

The Arnhem War Museum opened its doors to the general public for the first time on 27 May 1994. What once started as a hobby has now taken definite shape as a unique museum, both locally and regionally. In various places around the world, war museums house collections that focus on particular periods or specific events from that era.

The Arnhem War Museum, in addition to providing a general overview, seeks above all to give as accurate a picture as possible of what took place in Arnhem and the surrounding area during the war years. The purpose of this private museum is to keep the memory of this important episode in history alive and to preserve a unique collection for future generations.

More information about Arnhem's War Museum can be found on the website of the Arnhem War Museum.
