Airborne Museum

The Airborne Museum Hartenstein is located in Villa Hartenstein. During the Battle of Arnhem in 1944, this villa was the headquarters of the British Airborne Division.

Now the stories of British, Polish and German soldiers come to life there. Civilians affected by the violence of war also have their say. Through historical objects and personal belongings, the gripping story of the Battle of Arnhem is told.

Airborne Experience
In the underground Airborne Experience you step into the footsteps of a British soldier and go on a misse. In an impressive war decor you experience the operation from beginning to end with lots of audiovisual effects. History comes to life!

Misse Hartenstein
Mission Hartenstein is an audio tour with treasure hunt especially for children up to 12 years. Together with Private Tommy Atkins, children solve puzzles and assignments. Will you join the mission?
